WEEK 4



Assalamualaikum...

HOTEL at Kelang Lama to accompany kak As to handle 'KURSUS BELANJAWAN' that involved of all branch RISDA....
That is first time i follow to handle that kind of events...
Of course the important thing that i learn a lot of thing...
As commitee that involved i must be panctual with my duty....
Example i have arrives to setup Laptop and LCD before speech that people involved....
Be as commitee in 'KURSUS BELANJAWAN' not a easy job because people that involves very experience but they very kind to share their experiences....
Next thursday for last week i work before i go to my hometown because friday is 'HARI RAYA HAJI'....

WEEK 3

Assalamualaikum....

Time is running out...
feel like my destination at RISDA already long time and long day...
But the real facts that i just in RISDA in still 3 week...
Honestly i really love with this environment.It seem like family because relationship in this department very close.....
Monday i started with completing students internship letter.Then i continue update report internship.As usually then i photostat paper....
Then next tuesday continue settle students intership letter.During lunch i rest with atil,zam,kak odah and kak urai....
Wednesday i arrange fail for Miss Airin.Then make a faks for kak As then make a call.Now a feel confident during make a call because i already practice during 3 week at here...
Thursday,my task continue like usually such as continue make a call photostat and faks.At the same time kak Urai Give me order to follow Kak As to Pearl Hotel at Klang to help Kak As handle 'KURSUS BELANJAWAN' in 22 to 25 November 2009.Iheve to follow a arder because it among my duty as staf RISDA....
Friday i help Mr.Qassim to make a call and continue faks to RISDA in other states.

WEEK 2



Assalamualaikum... My starting second week i already flexible with my job at RISDA.... Even not so prefect but i still in progress to make my job make so prefect as my leader wanted.... Monday my task as usually such as make formal letter,fulfill key in data for e-latihan and photostat papers... Then Tuesday as we know RISDA has 'Quality day' that the event involved a lot of VIP/VVIP..... That day,we as training department participant as commitee to handle part of buffet foods.... This is my first experience in parcipicants that kind of events.... Wednesday i absence because i not feeling well and that day i go to government clinic for medical checkup at PGRM....For next day Pn Hurairah teach me to make offer letter for intership students. Then i learn how to manage file for internship students.... As usually i have photostat files.For friday i continue to make letter for students that not accepted to make internship in RISDA.... Then in morning at 9.30 a.m they have a breakfast with training department at Unit pertadbiran.... After that i continue my work then i make list name for miss Airin...

BACKGROUND OF RISDA




Establishment Act

The Rubber Industry Smallholders Development Authority, or RISDA as it better known, is a federal statutory body under the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development (MRRD). RISDA was established to develop the smallholder sector and the rural community in the line with national and rural development policy.It was established on 1st January 1973 under the powers passed by the Parliament:

Rubber Industry Smallholders Development Authority Act 1972 (Act 84)
Rubber Industry (Replanting) Fund Ordinance 1952


Responsibilities



To implement agricultural innovations emanating from research activities.
To co-operate with other agencies responsible for rubber research, extension, agricultural loan, processing and marketing to expedite the modernization process of the smallholder sector.
To carry out replanting and planting with new clones that can produce higher yields through good agronomic practices.
To ensure that the smallholder is modernized in all aspects to improve the economic standing of smallholders.
To gather and maintain the necessary statistics relating to the improvement and development of the smallholder sector as determined by the minister from time to time.


Development Strategies


Focusing development activities on active smallholders, i.e. owners/entrepreneurs whose livelihoods are depend on their smallholdings, and who are interested and have the desire and energy to change their lives.
Giving priority to group development.
Providing opportunity to progressive smallholders to develop individual plantations.
Implementing economic projects based on market needs.
Using the services and expertise of subsidiaries to implement large-scale economic projects that are beneficial to smallholders.

WEEK 1

First of all actually there have story beyond my internship in RISDA ampang.Monday, 26 October 2009 my friend and I came to RISDA to submit our application internship because we very disappointed because our application in other company was rejected. We just try our luck and came to RISDA and meet MISS AIRIN at Training Department. Miss Airin Idayu informs us those we already late to submit our application. I realize that our mistakes. Then she tells us that she will consider our application. After half in hour we get call from RISDA that they accept our application and started in 2 November 2009.I very happy because RISDA give opportunities to us to make our internship in RISDA. My first day at RISDA in 2 November 2009. I was put in Training Department. My work started from 8.00 a.m to 5.00 p.m.For beginning in this department En Harris give me little bit briefing about my job at this departments.
Then I was introducing to all staff in Training Department. I feel glad because they very nice. At that time madam Marlinny give short briefing about dress code. For 1 week at Training Department I was been teach a lot of task. Working in office not a simple job because as internship students I must learn more things from staff at this department. I was teaching how to make a call and how to speak properly. By making it success it need my communication skills. Then I learn how to use a Photostat machine and fax. Besides that I also make a formal letter. Then I learn how to used Esispen system. It uses to searching all information about staff. All staff very helpful and they teach me a lot of task.
